Day #8 If your house was on fire, what would you grab?

I have decided to join in with The Ultimate Blog Challenge. Basically it is a group of bloggers who blog each day for a month and help promote each other and themselves through the challenge via Twitter and Facebook and blogging.

Today is Day 8 of the Challenge and I wanted to write a reminder to all of you so we can all stay focused on this Challenge.

If you house was on fire, what would you grab and run with?

I would grab my two cats, I have them trained to get into their cage.  Or, my spouse would grab one and I would grab the other; I’d grab my purse and RUN!

Today’s Inspiration:“Whatever the mind of man can conceive, it can achieve.”

  1. Hi Jackie.. we DID have a housefire.. and I was not there when it happened, but 3 of my kids were home when I went for a 1/2 hour walk with the baby.

What did they leave with when they knew the house was on fire? well.. One left with the phone as he was calling 911, one left with a load of laundry she was carrying up the stairs and saw the fire, and the other left with nothing. ALL without coats, shoes or anything at the end of Jan in frreezzzing cold temp.

When I was allowed inside the house,, what did I take out? The photographs ( gratefuly not touched) and the important docs that were in a file cabinet. Amazing how simple it all becomes,, lol.

Your cats is a great choice! the rest does not matter really. It ( aside from the photos.) can all be replaced.

    peace and light
